Nick Mancuso

If I were the king of Hollywood, I would gather up every casting director, agent, studio head and anyone else that carries any sort of clout in that town and make them all watch the movie, Ticket to Heaven from 1981 starring Nick Mancuso.

Then I would scream at these so-called Hollywood know-it-all's for letting this phenomenal talent slip away without giving him another opportunity to top that performance. The sad part is that Nick Mancuso has not disappeared. In fact, he's been a working actor for almost forty years.

He's had many leading parts, like in Heartbreakers and Blame It on the Night and even the title role in the television series Stingray, but those characters never gave him the depth and range that Ticket to Heaven proved he could handle.

With age his roles have gotten smaller and his movies less mainstream. And all I can say is shame on you Hollywood. You let a great actor get away. But then again, you've been doing that for years.

  1. I really agree. I just saw 'Ticket to Heaven' and I found it amazing how believable his performance was. You see how he slowly transforms into someone else and at the end it is hard to recognise him. I don't think that the movies would have moved me in the same way with another actor,

  2. Nick Mancuso is so talented even today at age 65. He's gotten better with age like a fine wine. He is so interesting to listen to; if you go to Youtube and key in his interviews, he will mesmerize you. He is also still devilishly handsome even today. I wish Hollywierd would have been more astute and recognized an amazing actor like NM. But, they don't call it Hollywierd for nothing.

  3. He's supposed to be fantastic in the new Stephen Wallis film "The Performance".

  4. There is a very good reason that Nick Mancuso doesn't have the career that someone with his talent should have. He is a monster to work with, he is arrogant with an overblown sense of self importance. He used to be offered parts all the time, but he wouldn't do them as he felt that he was too good for the projects or that the project was beneath him. It didn't matter how broke he was he wouldn't even look at the scripts. He always got them with a check but he would rather blame others for his problems. Which he could have solved by simply just doing any of the hundreds of movies he was asked to star in.

  5. He shouldn't be famous. He is very talented, yes. But he abused his fans, friends and family financially. That might also be the reason why he is blacklisted in Canada and Hollywood meanwhile. He was in jail, too. Nick Mancuso had many fan pages in the past, but most of them were shut down after their owners (=fans) found out who Nick Mancuso really is: A fraud who only loves the money of others.

Imagine that: He promises a fan a painting for $10000, he keeps the money while the fan receives nothing, and he blames another fan for that. He asks fans to pay his bills. He asks family to pay his dentures, although SAG had paid for his dentures a long time ago.

Fans make an actor famous, but if he abuses one friend or fan after the other, he loses his good reputation. Without a job and without a fandom, it will be difficult to be famous.
He has ruined his own career.

    1. And may I ask, what proof do you have of this? I ask because I have searched all over the internet for this claims that he is the A-Hole you are saying he is and I have yet to find anything about it. There is a GoFundme page set up to help him out but its not even him who set it up. It was someone withing the medical team that is treating him if I read correctly. They even certified it so where did all this claims come from and where is the proof? I'm not saying you are wrong but I am curious to know.

  6. I too have never found any proof of the claims made. This nasty hate campaign seems to have been started by two former 'fans' who appear obsessed with Nick & for some 'fans', obsession can change from love to hate. One posted online emails between her & Nick & I read nothing from him to suggest he's the monster she claims, far from it. However, she came across as needy, totally obsessed & clearly wanting/expecting more from him & when that didn't happen her 'love' turned to hate. Prior to this smear campaign I had previously seen her numerous comments on various sites online all gushing praise for Nick. I've been a huge fan for 25 + years and when I would email him birthday/Christmas greetings he would always reply thanking me. Not once did I get any pity party from him nor did he ever try to solicit me for money etc. This campaign seems to be fueled by sour grapes & a continuing obsession. Sad. And for someone who is apparently such a nightmare to work with, he's never been short of work offers!

  14. I can't seem to find the video of David Zublick of Dark Outpost interviewing Nick Mancuso on September I think 24, 2020.
It was so good, very informative. Nick Mancuso is a very intelligent man who is very knowledgeable of many things, including health. Can anyone tell me where I can find this video. It was taken off of YouTube, and I can't find it on Dark Outpost.
